faith Class - Year 4
Welcome to Faith class!
There are 21 children in the class, our teacher is called Miss Moseley. We are lucky to have Mrs Marchant, Mrs Beresford and Mrs Griffin supporting the class throughout the week.
We take great pride in our learning, as well as supporting our peers with theirs.
Our class motto is: “Take pride in how far you’ve come and faith in how far you can go!”
We talk a lot about having a growth mindset and to help us with this, we have Owl and Ted, they are a toy teddy bear and owl. Owl has a fixed mindset and doesn’t like trying new things, says what is/isn’t possible and won’t change! Luckily, we have Ted who reminds us that it’s good to have a growth mindset, that even though things may get tough, we never, ever, give up! Ted tells us that mistakes help us to learn and that making several drafts of our work is a good thing as we can always improve! You will often hear the children say,
“Be more like Ted!”
This term our topic is The Victorians: the good, the bad and the brilliant! We are looking forward to learning about this influential period in British history.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
We look forward to welcoming you to our class!
