Our Christian Values and Ethos
At our most recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) on July 7th 2014, we were judged to be "outstanding" in all four areas of the report:
The distinctiveness and effectiveness of Sutton Benger school as a Church of England school is demonstrated through: “An ethos where children are valued as individuals and whose talents are given every opportunity to flourish.” SIAMS 2014
Our school, through its distinctive Christian character, is outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners: “Its positive ethos, with a strong emphasis on inclusion, ensures each child feels valued and special. Children enjoy coming to school and this is reflected in the excellent attendance.” SIAMS 2014
"At Sutton Benger a community has been created where Christian values are not only expressed, but are ‘lived out’ and are at the heart of the school." SIAMS 2014
Our School Prayer
This is our school
Let peace dwell here
Let the rooms be full of contentment
Let love abide here
Love of one another
Love of mankind, love of life and love of God
Let us remember that as many hands build a house
So many hearts make a school.
